Zuma has done a fantastic job as president, and he has managed to turn around the ANC and make it benefit him and him alone.

What has he done to become this powerful man who gets away with rape, fraud, theft, lying..?

Under Zuma’s leadership the ANC president has become untouchable, insulated by a national executive committee (NEC) of men and women held in place by networks of patronage nobody dares undo.

The NEC basically protects Zuma from all his scandals and he is never held accountable. And in all honestly, the ANC leadership collective “has lost control of its president”.

Since becoming president, Zuma has given every position in government to friends and comrades and cousins. This means they all owe this to Zuma, and not to the ANC, and they use this to “override government decisions and bypass the ANC”.

Zuma has so many people owing him favours in return for their great jobs that it is unlikely he will ever step down – he just has too much support on a personal level.

The DA left parliament because of the way the EFF was forced out and because no one could tell the difference between the SAPS and parliament security. They should have been chatting to the EFF, or ANYONE for that matter, about planning a coup.
