Let’s jump straight into the photos of the shoes. The first is of Noma/Norma (as her Instagram account calls her) in her new pair of Buscemi sneakers. The second is a closer look at a few colours of Buscemi sneakers so you can see what they’re all about.
Apparently the high-tops come with “hand-painted edges and gold-plated padlocks, and never cost less than R10 000 a pair”.
And who is this seemingly wealthy darling? She is the wife of none other than our very own Home Affairs Minister, Malusi Gigaba. The two wed in September last year, and she sure looks like she is reaping the benefits.
Surely the wife of someone in the government of such a economically divided country should not be posting pictures like these to social media? Nomachule has been known to be a fan of it though.
With regards to who paid for the shoes?
The money I am spending is mine. I have no tender, as some people believe and neither do I spend Malusi’s money. The R11 000 I paid for the sneakers was my hard-earned money.
What does she do that she can afford the Buscemi’s? Apparently she is an IT executive. Whatever that means.
She went on to explain that she wouldn’t boast about buying two pairs of shoes.
Also, I did not buy two pairs of the Buscemi sneakers, as some people are saying. The owner asked me to wear one of each colour (red and white) and then asked to take a photo of me, and I agreed.
I don’t know about you, but I would certainly not spend R10 000 on shoes that I have never heard of.
You can see her Instagram here (it is private though) and her Twitter here. Or buy PUMA’s here.
