Here at 2OV we like to look after our local musicians. It’s difficult competing against the thousands of big-money international artists we hear across commercial radio stations every day. We also like to give them a chance to say their own piece, like kaptein Jack Parow and his Ford gig fokop.
In light of that we will let you guys make your own minds up about whether or not you feel local muso Daniel Baron borrowed some of his creative juice from international superstars U2. An anonymous tipster sent these two music videos in and asked what we thought so we’ll show you both and see if you smell anything fishy.
Firstly you can watch Daniel Baron’s music video ‘Free’ below.
Then feast your eyeballs on U2’s video for ‘Numb’, released on their 1993 album ‘Zooropa’.
What do we think folks? Maybe someone in the know can let Daniel have a gander at these two and get back to us with his reaction. We would reward you with a month’s supply of virtual high fives, and we don’t go handing those out willy nilly.
