Poor Bob had to suffer one of the ultimate humiliations that life has to offer: he tripped and fell at the airport, in front of bucket loads of his supporters. Cringe. When I was in tenth grade I tripped over a rope garden fence (it was knee high) and fell flat on my face in front of the entire Matric class. It was not a good moment. I know exactly how Bob must have felt (too bad he has the international press photographing his every move).

At almost 91 years old, one should almost forgive the old chap for this mishap, but then one thinks of the disaster he has caused since 1987.

This is probably the only time Mugabe has ever knelt before anyone.

Apparently photographers who captured the moments were asked to delete their images by security. “Psssh. Not before we publish them,” they thought.
