The London busses are using a new method to become more like the topless ones we use here to show off the spectacular Mother City (have you looked outside yet? It’s a good one) and it’s a method that has not yet been seen.
They are using tree branches.
Wonderful. Except I’m pretty sure it’s freezing cold and snowing so I am not sure why exactly they would be wanting to do this…
The number 91 bus hit the tree near the LSE in Holborn and it rather neatly had its roof taken off. Passengers sitting upstairs were treated for minor injuries and there was one broken nose.
Gary Squires of the London Fire Brigade said “it’s not something we deal with very often” (true), with some passengers thinking it could be a bomb.
