Do you dream of living here?
Yes, it might be cold up there in north Scotland, but if you buy this island you will get your very own pod of seals. Seriously.
Let us have a look.
The island, called Holm of Huip, is 62 acres and has beautiful beaches, and will cost you £350 000 only. For a whole island!
The remains of Viking longboats and cairn have been discovered up and down the island, usually by local fishermen. The island has been uninhabited for more than 100 years, with the only remaining building the ruins of an old stone house.
Sadly you can’t live on the island permanently because of Scottish property laws, but you can frequent it during the summer months, which is perfect because it gets to a whopping 16 degrees Celsius.
I would still like to tell people I own an island. Perhaps you would like that too? What I can help you with is suggesting you play the Euro Millions – the next draw is tonight and you could walk away with €21 million (that’s a wee R270 480 000, which equates to a whole lot of islands).
