I’m just going to be honest here, I don’t usually like sitting next to old people on flights. They can smell a bit funny, have weak bladders and insist on telling me about their grandchildren. I get it, little Simon is God’s gift to this earth. Now leave me alone and let me pretend to read the in-flight magazine.
Hats off to these old codgers though, who entertained guests on a delayed flight to New Orleans with an a capella rendition of The Drifter’s “Under The Boardwalk”. We know people can get awful tetchy when flights get delayed, especially after boarding, so here’s hoping the flight crew treated the Port City Sound barbershop quartet to a toot or three on the house.
