Hey, America? You have a well brought up bunch of kids roaming the streets of New Jersey, just FYI.
Frankly, all the parents need a ruler on their wrists for being so god-awful. I can definitely vouch for no kid at my school ever treating a teacher like this. (What I find equally concerning is that I am now so old that back when I was at school we didn’t even take our phones to class…)
So, what happened was a 9th grade kid was on his mobile phone during a physics class, and the 64-year old teacher confiscated the phone. The kid then threw a shit-fit and tackled the teacher to get his phone back.
Police later arrested the teenager and charged him with assault. He has also been suspended from school.
