OK, he might not look like everyone’s cup of tea but Marilyn Manson certainly makes for good entertainment.

If you are at all familiar with the musician you will know of the rumour that he had a few ribs surgically removed in order to perform fellatio upon himself. I’m not a believer, mainly for the reason that he is still seen out in public and hasn’t remained locked indoors ever since.

Manson’s latest album features a song called ‘Killing Strangers’, which was yanked off air across many European stations in light of the Charlie Hebdo attack. Manson had this to say to the Daily Beast:

When you’re dealing with people who are very blinded by their beliefs, the line of freedom of speech needs to really have some common sense to it. I was well aware that I was not going to make a lot of friends with Antichrist Superstar. I got death threats and dealt with 100 cops a day. You cannot ever meddle with someone who is blinded by their beliefs and not expect danger to come with it. It’s the basis of every war that’s happened.

I would not have done what [Charlie Hebdo] did simply because I don’t do that; I sing.

We wouldn’t have expected Marilyn Manson to have bowed to any public pressure, although maybe he is just eager to get back home in one piece so he can spend some quality time with himself and his missing ribs.
