Ever dreamed of being Mark Zuckerberg’s right hand man? Well, you can keep dreaming about that, but you can apply to work for Facebook in its new South Africa office.
According to its LinkedIn profile, an opening has been posted for a “highly quantitative, driven, and creative measurement lead to work within our Marketing Science Regional Measurement team to support its advertising business in South Africa and wider African market”.
Facebook’s South African PR agency has yet to comment with regards to an SA office, but last year Iain MacKenzie, a “spokesperson for Facebook in Africa” let slip a little bit about a possible SA move:
Yes we are definitely increasing our focus. The team is currently based in Dubai, but we hope to have an office soon.
