This is going to be awkward to explain to the kids in the future…
And it’s also a rather weird story. Just in case you’ve missed it, here’s the deal…
A girl (in high school) got in touch with her father for the first time since she was a toddler via Facebook. She then went to visit him, and they ended up having sex and falling in love with one another.
Yes, it sounds a bit cray-cray, but it also has an actual scientific explanation, called Genetic Sexual Attraction. This is when adopted children reconnect with their biological relatives and then have “intense romantic and sexual feelings” towards each other.
Experts estimate that these taboo feelings occur in about 50 percent of cases where estranged relatives are reunited as adults.
Oh good. Another thing to worry about in life.
Anyway, the dad and the daughter are now getting married and planning a family. She is not concerned about her kids turning out weird because, well… She is convinced they won’t.
I was seeing my dad for the first time in forever but it was also like, He’s so good-looking! And then I was like,What the hell are you thinking? What is wrong with you? I saw him as my dad but then also part of me was like, I’m meeting this guy who I have been talking to over the internet and really connecting with and I find him attractive.
The daughter explained quite a bit in a recent interview, giving insight into her childhood and the moment she met her father again.
…the third night I fell asleep with him on the floor lying on his chest, in his arms. The fourth night rolled around and we ended up on the floor again. This time we actually cuddled. When he woke up, we were spooning. I didn’t know this at the time but later, after we admitted our feelings, he told me he had had “morning wood” and had gone to fix it.
It’s a really interesting read, in all seriousness. She goes on to explain how she lost her virginity to her father, and how they are going to wear Converse to their black and purple wedding.
