Seeing as though everyone has had their two cents worth to say on the Charlie Hebdo tragedy, we now turn to the main man from the Vatican.
Our papal pal has been vocal in his support for breastfeeding, but it seems he thinks the magazine went a little too far in their criticism of peoples’ faiths. nydailynews reports:
“One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people’s faith, one cannot make fun of faith,” he said. “There is a limit. Every religion has its dignity … in freedom of expression, there are limits.”
He followed this up by condemning the attack, saying that no one should kill in the name of God.
The Pope made these comments during an in-flight news conference on his way to the Philippines. The only people that ever talk to me on the plane are those middle-aged women with twelve pictures of their first grandchild in their wallet.
A public service announcement then, we don’t want to look at another picture of that grotesque ball of blubber with sunken holes for eyes. Thank you for understanding.
