I just spent a few wonderful days sitting on the soft beaches of Phu Quoc island off the coast of Vietnam. Feel free to imagine crystal clear waters (Turquoise? Puh-lease.), white sand, and the tallest coconut palms waving their shadows over us.
Every morning someone would shimmy up to the top branches and cut me a very fresh coconut. This was absolutely ideal as I had become somewhat notorious for smashing back the piña coladas from 16h00 and usually awoke with a slight headache.
This is what I had to deal with:
It was tough, I tell you.
On my return to the sunny shores of Cape Town, I can actually feel the difference. True story. My skin is glowing, I’m hydrated, and I’m just feeling all round good. I had a moment of horror and panic when I realised that coconut palms are rather scarce in the Mother City. Where was I going to get my daily dose of coconut water from? Then I remembered this stuff:
And oh boy have I stocked up my fridge. There is no way I am letting this glowing skin slip away! I can safely say I will drink Cocofina for the rest of my life. Not to mention the physical benefits, coconut water aids in food digestion, it lowers blood pressure and it can aid in weight-loss. It’s a wonder we’re not all begging to be stranded on a tropical island.
If you want to pretend you are on a tropical island whilst laying poolside, then you should CLICK HERE and get yourself some Cocofina coconut water.
