It seems Bra Julius has no shortage of friends, and enemies, around the country. We know he isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but at least those in the EFF itself have his back right?
Not according to an email sent from Andile Mngxitama, the party’s former commissar on land, to Malema this week. City Press managed to get their grubby little paws on the email, which revealed all is not well inside the EFF.
Malema himself comes in for stinging criticism, with Mngxitam offering Juju this stern warning regarding a fear within the party that dissenting voices are being unfairly sacked:
This fear is generated by threats and actual dismissals of EFF employees, often without due process, or worse, by sheer intimidation.
President, we are a socialist party. We need to lead by example when it comes to the rights of workers.
It has also been confirmed that at an EFF party lawyer’s funeral in the Free State, hundreds of funeral-goers exercised their vocal chords and sung anti-Malema songs.
Perhaps this may cause the big man some distress, although he will first have to figure out how to open his email to access the scathing message.
