At the rate that selfies are taking over the world, it’s really no wonder that everyone wants to look their best. I’ve even started brushing my hair on occasions where there could be the possibility of a selfie, because god forbid if you look like a troll.
Selfies are so huge at the minute that the US has seen a rise in plastic surgery.
Plastic surgeons… have seen a surge in demand for procedures ranging from eye-lid lifts to rhinoplasty, popularly known as a nose job, from patients seeking to improve their image in selfies and on social media.
Plastic surgeons have noted a “10 percent rise in rhinoplasty in 2013 over 2012, a 7 percent jump in hair transplants and 6 percent increase in eyelid surgery”.
What’s wrong with a bit of eyeliner and a good blow-dry? Oh, yes. Age.
Here’s a great idea, if you don’t want to go under the knife just yet, but want to take your selfies to the next level. Pop into the Skin Renewal Clinic and they will sort you out in no time. They offer the Liquid Facelift, good old botulinum injections, Dermal Fillers, and a non-surgical nose job. You’ll be selfie-worthy in no time.
Wonderful.
