There’s been a lot of media hype of late about the e-cigarette, and whether it really is good or bad, or helping you and what not. We have one in the office – a Twisp – and it is awesome (I don’t smoke, BTW). It often smells like piña colada, and I think we tried a minty one the other day. The best part is that the smell reminds me of being on the beach, and not in some dingy underground nightclub begging for oxygen.
Here are a few fun facts to calm the storm about the Twisp e-cig:
First and foremost, they do not contain tar, which is the part of a cigarette that helps to kill you. ‘Tar’ is “the term used to describe the toxic chemical residue left behind from burning cigarettes”, and apparently it just sticks to everything, like your lungs and your teeth (mmm, attractive).
Because the “smoke” that you inhale and exhale with a Twisp is actually water vapour, it contains no smoke particulates or carbon monoxide.
They do, however, contain nicotine, which is the part that makes you want another one. What’s great is that Twisp has a nicotine-free range…
Just think though: if you swapped over to a Twisp you would start experiencing fewer of the usual side-effects of smoking, such as coughing, shortness of breath, smelly clothes and hair, and stained teeth and nails.
Basically, you get to smoke, but stand less chance of dying (we’re all still human and are fragile creatures, remember).
What so many of my friends have done, is change from regular cigarettes to Twisp. Essentially, they have stopped smoking, and are now vaporing. And because they have stopped smoking, their friends also get to relish in smoke free air.
I think it’s a great idea, this Twisping. You should consider gifting it to yourself or your favourite other half. You can grab a Twisp Clearo Starter Pack, which is a full kit option consisting of two devices, a charger, refill flavour and extra coils for R999.95
If you just want to gift yourself (I do that at least once a week) then get a Clearo Lite starter pack containing one device plus all the accessories mentioned above for R699.99.
