I’ve heard of train tracks running across a street road.
That’s pretty normal, isn’t it?
But this, this is ridiculous.
Evidently, not even a square inch can be spared in Gibraltar. The place is loaded up to the max.
It’s loaded up so tight, that planes must cross multiple lanes of traffic to land on Gibraltar International‘s airstrip.
Do these planes come equipped with hooters? Cause they should be…
Apparently traffic halts for about 10 minutes when a plane takes off, as the busy street doubles as part of the runway. After a short while later the plane has taken off, and everything goes back to normal.
Weird, weird vibe in Gibraltar. It works though, so hats off to them!
