Holy smokes…what gives?
Signal Hill is on fire once again. This is the second time in a few weeks.
Please be vigilant out there guys.
Emergency lights and trucks can be heard and seen around the area, so evidently the Fire and Rescue Services are on it. This is good.
Apparently, no roads or people have been affected in the area.
As hot weather and strong winds pick up in the Mother City during the summer months, wildfires tend to spread quicker.
Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service attended to more than 5 000 of these blazes in 2013 alone.
Check out Traveller 24 for more photos of the fire.
