This video was part of a campaign to raise awareness against rape.
Instead, all it’s done is raise questions into the credibility of Hungarian Police…
Basically, the message they’re trying to get across to women is: Girls shouldn’t flirt, or they will risk getting raped. (WTF!!!)
The video has sparked outrage from several Hungarian advocacy groups:
“(The video) scares and humiliates the victims and exonerates the perpetrators to go unpunished,” the groups said in a joint statement. “… These kind of films evoke misogyny and contempt for women.”
This video reminds me of a recent story we covered on how VICE uncovered the truth behind the Bangladesh Police and their ignorance towards rape in their own country.
All this stinks of ignorance, and completely demeans the victim, whilst protecting the attackers.
