The disturbing story that caught some attention yesterday is like a scene straight from a horror-film.
Council cleaners were on their daily sweep of the area near Cosy Bay, Oudekraal, when they discovered the torso of a man wrapped in plastic.
The torso was wrapped in a blue plastic sheet, and a few metres away was a bag containing the rest of the body parts.
According to the workers, they thought it was a bag of rubble when they spotted it under the bushes, but shockingly it turned out to be the last thing you’d expect to find under a bush, and wrapped in blue plastic.
To add to the horrific story, the workers said: “The body looked like it was frozen. It was as if someone tried to squeeze a big guy into a freezer and ended up having to cut off the body parts to make it fit.”
The man is still unidentified but police investigators are working hard to track down exactly what went down.
