If you’re one of South Africa’s earnest Pearl Jam fans, then you should be getting a bit excited with news that Big Concerts is working very hard at getting the band to visit South Africa in the near future.

The Pearl Jam – Please come to South Africa Facebook page has seen a burst of action in recent months, with Big Concerts commenting:

Thanks for all the posts everyone. We have heard you loud and clear. We were working on Pearl Jam dates last year after their Australia dates, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. However we think they would be amazing in SA and will continue to try and get them to SA. As soon as we hear anything you guys will be the first to know!

Have a squizz at the guys playing at Lollapalooza in Brazil last year. That’s what you could be watching very soon.
