I have a hard enough time trusting my financial adviser, so I find it hard to believe that traders are now going to be putting their faith into rats.
Let me explain.
There is a thing called a Skinner box. It is “designed to contain and train laboratory animals, with the simplest version rewarding rats for pressing a lever” (the inventor was rumoured to have kept his daughter in one.). This is where the rats and finance come together as one.
RATTRADERS rats can be trained exclusively for any financial market segment. They outperform most human traders and represent a much more economic solution for your trading desk.
Need to know how these rats are becoming clever(er) than humans?
Financial price data are converted into 20 seconds of piano music, the music is played to a rat, and then the rat guesses whether to bet that the price will then fall or rise. If the rat is successful, it receives food; if not, a mild shock. After weeks of training, the site says, the best rats outperform most humans.
Truly, you might consider removing all your rat traps and instead, start training up the little critters to eat less cheese and make you richer.
If you would rather not have rats dealing with your finances, you can head on over to Consequence Private Wealth.
