Want To Be SA’s Next Big Hit? You Have Till Tomorrow Midnight

Have you got what it takes to be SA's next big up and coming musical talent? Well then, there's no time to waste! Jack Daniels Music Scout's are looking for you, and entries are still open.

There are still 4 semi-finalist spots remaining in the exciting Jack Daniel’s Music Scouts 2014 search for authentic musical talent, and let me tell you… the competition is stiff.

But time is running out, so those of you that think you’ve got the pipes or stage presence, have until 19 November to submit your demo for T-Bo Touch, Khuli Chana and DJ Ganyani to review – That is tomorrow at midnight peeps. The esteemed panel of judges had this to say of the competition so far:

“Hip hop entries have been impressive so big up to them!” says Ganyani, adding that he’d like to see more house demos given the popularity of this style in SA. ”Your hunger for success and your work ethic must be reflected in your final product,” he says.

Fellow Scout T-Bo Touch advises, “Don’t submit a lengthy demo, this is not karaoke. Your song needs to make a mark within 30 seconds and an overly long intro is a big turn-off.”

Khuli Chana adds, “Stay original. Don’t try copy sounds or other artists already in the market. I want to be blown away and not feel like I’ve heard the material before.”

The final 4 semi-finalists will be announced on METRO FM’s The Touchdown on 20 November. So listen up! The JD Music Scouts will then select their favourite 3 artists, who will battle it out to impress the Scouts at the big finale gig on 5 December.

This is how you do it: Visit jackscouts from your mobile device NOW to enter. Then hit up FB at JackDanielsSA, #Jackscouts to follow your progress.

Remember, the winning artists will win a trip to one of the amazing Miami Music Conferences, as well as revelling in all the fame and glory as South Africa’s winner.

The JD Music Scouts are ready, are you?
