There’s some fun but controversial stuff happening up in Pietermaritzburg this week.
In a newish trend, which has no doubt been elevated in popularity by last weeks Cell C banner scandal, two men in KZN have put up this sign:
The traffic on Monday morning was treated for some extra fun and games as motorists hooted when driving under Mayor’s Walk bridge where the banner is hanging.
A few people actually stopped driving to take photos. One man, Adam Steyn, did not hoot, but “believes President Jacob Zuma is not fit to lead the country”.
People are struggling. I’m disappointed about what is happening in this country. Zuma is doing nothing and therefore must resign. We are in an interesting political climax. Whoever put that banner there has guts.
People had other views about the matter. Whilst some agree that the president is not doing the greatest of jobs, they think that Zuma “deserves to be respected at all times”.
