I bet you’ve been just dying for this show, because WHY would you want to watch housewives in Texas or Beverley Hills when you can involve yourself with people from Melrose and Sandton?

Finally, South Africa can collectively sit each day and ogle over some wealthy women who live in Joburg. Life = complete.

The show is going to follow the lives and turmoils (read: shopping sprees) of five ladies, who all love to let you know how much money they have.

Let’s have that little cast breakdown:

There is Aimee Sadie, 30, who runs Desch, a boutique in Sandton, with beautiful clothes and “elite clientele”.

Then there is Puleng Mash Spies, who is a restaurant franchise owner. Likes Louboutins. Say she could feed an African country with them.

Sorisha Naidoo is better known for her role on Scandal! and has her own skincare line. She has shied away from public scrutiny, so being on the telly should be interesting for her.

Christie Swanepoel will play the part of the divorced CEO mother. She has two sons and two step-sons and is “in a relationship with a younger man” (I sense some actual scandal!).

And Nazli Delport is married and has, in the past, run the nightclubs Hush and Kong. She explains her marriage as “complicated”.

What a cast! I cannot wait to watch this.
