Facebook is looking at making its own platform for office networking, according to “sources familiar with the matter”.

The top secret project, which could be called “Facebook at Work” would enable users to “chat with colleagues, connect with professional contacts and collaborate over documents”.

We are going to continue preparing for the future by investing aggressively, connecting everyone, understanding the world, and building the next-generation in computing platforms.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has great plans for the company, but understand they “have a long journey ahead”.

In the last financial quarter, Facebook profits were at $802 million.
