The two guys who got into a racially charged fight at the Cape Quarter have been banned from going back there, so we can all go and make our Spar salads in peace again.

If you have seen the video, you’re probably wondering what started the whole thing in the first place.

Jenna Lange, who saw the whole thing unfold, says this is what went down before the video starts…

She saw two white men “fumbling at the ATM” on Thursday. A black woman asked them to hurry up and one of the men told her to shut up. The black man piped up on her behalf. He said: ‘You don’t talk to women like that’. The white man allegedly retaliated: “You dirty k*****s” and “You black people have to learn to shut up”. Lange said the black man ignored him and went to the machine. The white man pushed him and the fight began.

After the white guy got up off the floor, he then went on to shout at a security guard who was trying to help him.

The SAPS is not investigating the incident and the Cape Quarter does “not want to associate itself with racial or violent acts”.
