This is why very many Brits are seeing their great-grandchildren born before their 50th birthday’s.
‘The Family Education Trust said sex education classes offer advice that contradicts the legal age of consent in Britain (16).’
I don’t think I knew what sex was when I was 13. I know for a fact that I hadn’t even had my first kiss. So why do kids think it’s okay to be be having babies at 15?
Sarah Carter, who works for The Family Education Trust, has challenged Brook’s ‘traffic light tool’.
‘The tool states that young people who are consensually sexually active from the age of 13, this is normal behaviour and development, whereas actually the law states that young person should wait until they are 16 at least, never mind if they are ready or not.’
Carter took to the Commons education select committee and Committee chairman Graham Stuart replied:
‘What we want is children to develop healthy and safe relationships and it’s really important that teachers are provided with the necessary training in order to do that.’
So as long as children know about sex and what it is and what the results can be, then sex is fine… The fact that we have to watch shows like MTV’s Teen Mom should surely be a wake up call.
WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?? AND THE MORALS??
