For those of who you are avoiding recharging your phone’s call and data package, MTN has announced that it’s bringing back reverse-charge calls, albeit with a modern twist.

“Should the receiver accept the call, they will be charged on behalf of the caller at 99 cents per minute on a per second billing regardless of their tariff plan”, MTN said.

You have to register to access the Pay4Me service, which will only be available for calls on the MTN network.

You have to dial *121* followed by the number you wish to call.
