Diego Maradona is an international football legend. He is the Argentinian god-like sportsman who everyone knows.
And now he can be known for something else…
His partner, Rocio Oliva, has accused him of beating her for being on her mobile phone. Unfortunately for Maradona, Rocio was filming at the time, and has caught the whole incident on video.
“I sent the phone flying but I swear by my children that I never raised my hand to a woman,” he said. “The story starts and finishes there.”
He has admitted to knocking the phone out of her hand.
