June Steenkamp’s book is ready for publication on November 6th, and already excerpts are doing the rounds. June has obviously had a lot to say, and rightfully so, as the death of her daughter Reeva is absolutely tragic.
Mrs Steenkamp has said that Oscar is “pathetic”, “moody”, “gun-toting” and “possessive”, and that it was only a matter of time before he killed someone. She has also said that Reeva confided in her, saying that her and Oscar had “not yet entered a sexual relationship and had ‘nagging doubts about their compatibility'”.
“She had confided to me that she hadn’t slept with him. They’d shared a bed, but she was scared to take the relationship to that level.”
Both of Reeva’s parents would like to meet with Oscar, who is serving five years for culpable homicide, to get a real apology from him.
