In a sad sporting incident, a young football player has passed away after injuring himself during a celebration following scoring a goal.
Peter Biaksangzuala, playing for Bethlehem Vengthlang against Chanmari West scored in the 61st minute, and while trying to do a somersault celebration, hurt his neck.
Biaksangzuala was rushed to hospital but died shortly after. He had damaged his spinal cord.
