This goes to show that it’s better late than never to start buying those lottery tickets. Just imagine buying a serene little island, somewhere near the Seychelles, with six palm trees that produce enough coconut oil that you have shining locks for the rest of your life; where you can spend Sunday afternoons pretending to fight off pirates…
Sorry. I’m back.
Six builders from Glasgow decided to each buy a ticket for the EuroMillions and share the winnings should one of them hold the lucky numbers. And, miraculously, one of them did.
“We each put on three Lucky Dips and on the Wednesday morning we checked our tickets. Four of us had checked our tickets on the way to work and when we arrived Ashley checked what turned out to be the winning ticket. We heard him shouting a mile away.”
They won a total of £333 167.40, so shall be receiving £55 527.90 each, which is a nice little stash.
I’ll bet Ashley wishes he had never joined this syndicate…

Still dreaming about pirate hunting in the Seychelles (and I am not talking about the Somalian pirates) on Sundays? Make sure to buy your very own EuroMillions ticket HERE because the prize is sitting at R2.3 BILLION for tomorrow night. That’s like, at least three small islands and a rubber duck.
