Following the tragic scenes at the recent Euro 2016 qualifying match between Albania and Serbia, it’s now been revealed who was actually controlling the troublesome drone.
For some background, the match was called off following a brawl that broke out between the two teams and fans after a drone carrying a flag flew onto the pitch.
It’s now known that the brother of the Prime Minister of Albania was the one in control of the drone.
Olsi Rama was holding the remote controller for the drone, the Serbian prime minister’s office told CNN, citing Serbian police.
Olsi has been arrested and sent home to Albania, according to reports.
The drone that was used is also readily available to the public, and can be bought via Drone Photo.
