When you think of interior design, you think pillows, wallpaper and strange lamp shades, which is pretty far from the funky street wear of youths today.
However, there is definitely a correlation between the innovation in the fashion industry and in that of interior design, and Puma, being all forward-thinking and clever and stuff, have decided to combine the two fields to create something truly unique.
The clothing brand has announced a collaboration with House of Hackney – the well-known interiors label – to bring the HOH x Puma range. The apparel features contemporary updates of classic Track Jacket, Track Pants and Sweat Top sportswear pieces.
Contrasting panels, deep hues and bold explosions of print on the HOH x PUMA clothing offer the perfect complement to the collection’s footwear which includes the unisex classic PUMA Trinomic, Basket and Slipstream moulds.
Unique patterns and prints are combined with elegant material choices including soft velvet, Jacquard and leathers, and applied to footwear and apparel, as classic PUMA sneakers like the Basket and Trinomic R698 receive heel-to-toe makeovers.
Puma x House of Hackney is available from October at Puma Select stores in Bree Street, Cape Town and Braamfontein in Johannesburg.
