Once reserved for just 5-star establishments in Paris and New York, the glory of a sphere of ice for bar drinks, comes to your home! And they’re available in Cape Town!

I can’t remember the name of the place – but there is a quality kitchenware shop at Gardens Centre. Just a few doors down from Woolies – with the most radical range of kitchenware. So Adam from P&G told me about the whiskey spheres when we were drinking and raving the other night about how awesome Gardens Centre is (this post is not paid for). So I popped my nose in there a couple weeks back and bought two (you get two in a pack).

Good Lord these things are amazing. They last SO long and you feel like the embodiment of awesome, as you pour your whizzo over a near-perfect sphere of ice. You almost feel like a supermodel.

So check it out – they’re at that kitchenware shop a few doors down from Woolies at Gardens Centre. I could follow that link and look for their name, but I just don’t feel like doing that right now.
