It is described as the “flawless fancy vivid pink diamond” and it was auctioned at Sotheby’s for a whopping $17.7million.
The 8.41-carat stone went under the hammer in Hong Kong on Tuesday and was expected to fetch $15million.
“According to the auction house, the flawless fancy vivid pink diamond is “amongst the rarest and most desirable of colored diamonds ever seen at auction”.”
If anyone feels like sending one my way, I’m at the Woodstock Exchange. It would look great with my French mani. The cherry on top. Bring champers, too.
