Spectators of rally car racing are insane. There’s MORE than enough examples of cars veering off the track and ploughing into the death-wishing crowds, and now another video has shown JUST how close you can come to embracing the white light while on the side of an offroad racetrack.
During the Jolly Rally in Valle D’Aosta in North West Italy, rally driver Pietro Scavone lost control of his Renault Clio Super 1600 and smashed into a dirt wall, sending his car flipping and flying towards some onlookers.
Somehow, they managed to escape. Maybe it was cat-like reflexes or a higher-power giving them a second chance. Either way, you can be sure that they appreciated life a little more that day.
