The internet’s latest social phenomenon isn’t as daunting as pouring a bucket of ice-water on your head. Instead, it requires one to take a selfie in bed. Crazy stuff.
The #WakeUpCall campaign, which is in aid of the Unicef charity for the Syria Emergency Fund, is more along the lines of the #nomakeupselfie, which became popular earlier this year. People participating upload a photo of themselves after just waking up.
Celebrities such as Stephen Fry and Tom Hiddleston have already participated in the campaign.
