I’ve always had a thing about boyfriends needing to be taller than me. And that’s not easy for me, especially when I love wearing heels, because then I pretty much see eye-to-eye with most men.
Turns out I should change my thought pattern.
A New York University sociology paper has revealed that short men make for better marriages. Whilst they will probably end up getting married later in life, they remain happily married for life.
Why, though?
It is because short men are desperate. Short men live in a world of taller men and know that any advantage seized is better kept. Desperation makes short men good husbands. We know the odds instinctively, and knowing that we have lucked out, intend to continue playing a good thing.”
This can be seen in a positive light, ladies. It means we can keep our freedom and then when we hit our late 30’s and freak out, we can just find an unmarried short man and live happily ever after.
Of course there is always the exception, as we see with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
And hey, who needs to wear heels with their LBD, anyway?
