A white, lesbian couple from Ohio is suing a sperm bank for accidentally inseminating her with the wrong sperm, and the sperm was from a black donor, nogal. The scandal.
The couple’s bi-racial child, Payton, is now two years old, and is probably oblivious to what’s going on. Payton’s parents, however, are freaking out.
“They say they’re worried about how 2-year-old Payton will grow up in an “all-white environment” where even her own family is cautious of her parents’ same-sex relationship.”
Jennifer Cramblett and her partner, Amanda Zinkon, are suing Midwest Sperm Bank in Chicago for $50,000 “in damages” for the “wrongful birth”. Charming.
Why is this such a problem? Payton will now have to grow up as “a girl of mixed race who will grow up in her parents “racially intolerant” community”.
