He might look like he has had a few moments of fun in the past 20 months, but I’m pretty sure that Oscar Pistorius has also had some incredibly long, sleepless nights.
It was a long process in court to hear verdicts, and another wait to hear if he will actually spend any time in prison or not. And amidst all this waiting, the State has more time to form an appeal, and possibly search for more evidence against him.
What’s recently resurfaced is the search history on an iPad2 and iPad3, both found at Oscar’s house.
“According to the time next to the history, the porn website was accessed at 6.30pm on February 13, 2013. After that, the iPad was used to browse auto trader, used car websites and to search for cars, including the Ford Ranger and Aston Martin Rapide R.”
All web history prior to this date had been deleted.
The Pistorius family put out a statement saying that they were aware that “all relevant communications were put before the court”, and that they “are not aware of any deletions having been affected by Oscar or effected on his instructions that could be relevant to this trial or could have impacted on this trial”.
Cue more sleepless nights for Oscar. Surely he will be relieved come October 13th.
