If you are a woman, you will know what this feels like: that moment in your life when you suddenly realise you are, in fact, your mother. You have picked up on her mannerisms, and fold your shirts the same way (or god help you). And whilst there is nothing anyone (except a brilliant therapist) can do about this, there is at least help to slow down the physical ageing process and revel in your youthful good looks and shiny skin just a little longer.
If your crows feet and laugh lines are sending you into a mild panic, you can ease up on the fretting.
The focus of Skin, Body & Health is, of course, your skin and body, and they want you to see results. With a team of knowledgable medical doctors at the ready, you can be sure to turn back your body clock, without having to go under the knife. Aesthetic and cosmetic treatments are the way to go, and they will garner results.
A lot of emphasis is put on the “prevention is better than cure” belief. But, because we spent the majority of our childhood’s playing in gardens under the hot sun, the chances of us having a bit of skin damage is already pretty high. They’re going to fix your skin, and it will be years until strangers mistake you as your mother’s sister.
Of course, long term maintenance is key. There’s no point in making your skin glow and then baking it in the sun two weeks later on your island vacation whilst you sip on pina coladas. At the very least, throw on some sunblock, because cocktail umbrellas are too small to sit under.
