Julian Assange left the Ecuadorian Embassy yesterday. Except he didn’t. But people could see him at the Nantucket Project in Massachusetts. What’s going on?! Ah, science. You’re so sneaky.
Assange was interviewed by filmmaker Eugene Jarecki whilst he sat in London, and was then beamed in as a hologram to the audience, where he spoke “face to face” with Jarecki.
It looks so ridiculously real, like he could actually be there. It’s only when they try do a high-five that you realise he is a hologram.
