Apparently the DA is missing part of the Spy Tapes collection. That’s like buying the box set of Friends and missing the last episode of every season. Not cool.
22 documents were supposed to be handed over to the DA, but a part of them are missing. DA federal executive chairperson James Selfe says the DA has been in contact with the State attorney who represented the NPA, and that they are “in the process of making arrangements to get access to those additional documents, as well as get access to the other recordings that weren’t transcribed as part of the so-called spy tapes”. Nice work.
“[This is to] ensure we get the proper context of those conversations and make sure the conversations transcribed and given to us were not cherry picked.”
Let’s hope they get handed over ASAP.
