But of course Reeva Steenkamp’s mother has written a book. It’s only a matter of time until the movie rights get sold off also…
June Steenkamp has teamed up with UK-based Little, Brown Book Group, and has penned a very personal memoir.
Described as the “true insider’s account of the most dramatic trial of the 21st century”, the book will focus on what went on in her mind as she sat, day after day, in the packed Pretoria court room.
“The book will describe the events after Steenkamp received a phone call early on 14 February 2013 to say that her daughter had been shot dead by her boyfriend.”
Reeva’s parents are disappointed with the court’s verdict, and think Oscar deserved the murder charge.
The book, Reeva: A Mother’s Story, will be published in November 2014.
