Heritage Day (or Braai Day, as it’s become more affectionately known as) is around the corner, and if you’re looking for the ultimate way to pay tribute to our South African culture, there’s a pretty appealing offer to help maximise the homage to our history.
The Maslow is taking Braai Day to the next level, and have turned it into a Braai Week – why? Because why not…
OK, so it’s actually called Heritage Week, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some epic braaing happening.
From 22 to 27 September, The Maslow will host the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra, bringing some serious class to the already super-snazzy Sandton hotel.
The orchestra will perform live for guests at the Lacuna Bistro between 18h00 and 20h30 throughout the week, and on Sunday the 21st and 28th of September, Lacuna will serve its famous gourmet braai between 13h00 and 17h00. People joining the gourmet braai on Sundays receive a free glass of bubbly. The cost is R250 per person.
