With National Heritage Day coming up, it is important to remember what our country is about.

We are about learning to come together. We are about teaching our history and making a new story. We are learning forgiveness. We are a nation of helping one another when we can. We are a polite nation. No one ever takes the last canapé.

Please sit down and take a few minutes to listen to our Steak of the Nation address.

It is important to know what Heritage Day is all about. Whilst it is a much needed day off work, it is also a celebration of South Africa. And what better way to celebrate than by braaing the perfect steak, and drinking an ice cold beer or glass of Chardonnay.
