The rumours are true – some long haul aircrafts do have sleeping quarters for the flight attendants and pilots.
You know the thought of flying to Bali excited you, but the thought of sitting upright in economy class makes you want to cry a little bit into your 89′ backrest. But if you pop enough sleeping pills, you will eventually pass out and sleep.
Imagine the poor people who are tending to your every beck and call for another glass of pre-holiday Chardonnay. They too would like to sleep somewhere between take-off and landing, especially on journeys that are 18 hours long.
Boeing’s 777 and 787 planes are fitted with tiny sleeping areas, up a secret flight of stairs, where attendants can take a nap or read a book.
