Arguing about what the best guitar riff of all time is like trying to choose which one of your children is the favourite, but BBC Radio 2 ran a poll to try and get some sort of a consensus from listeners.
Radio 2 listeners cast their votes from a list of 100 riffs selected by a panel of music industry experts including Radio 2 and 6 Music DJs, music critics and record producers.
The list features some of the best riffs from the likes of the Kinks, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Status Quo and Deep Purple.
What do you think of the list? Think it’s in the right order or maybe something is missing?
